Abstract

In Jabon Subdistrict, which is directly adjacent to the North Sea, there is the first marine tourism in Sidoarjo Regency. Minister Susi Pudjiastuti in 2017 authorized Lusi Island as Baru Island which emerged from the Lapindo mud deposit at the estuary of the Porong River. Because of that, a dock was built at Tococor called the Bahlor Bahari Tourism. But it is unfortunate that the needs and readiness available at these tourist sites is less to be able to make the tour a tourist attraction. The lack of information media is the cause of the difficulty of the tour to convey information to visitors. The problem can be solved by designing information media in the form of environmental graphic design. EGD is very important to understand the rules that exist somewhere. The function of the sign system is as a marker according to culture, shortening the delivery of information markers or rules and norms that are utilized and implemented in a particular group. The concept of "Preserve" was used in this study by using data collection techniques for observation, interviews, documentation and literacy studies. It is expected that the concept can facilitate visitors and citizens to understand the sign, wayfinding along with other supporting media.
