Abstract

Abstract :This research is about the culture of "Topeng Malangan" coming from the Malang city. This research focused to make illustration book for children who has age range from 8-12 years old for early education, and hopefully can regenerate the culture year over year.

The concept of illustration book in this research is using “digital painting” for the visual because the style right now is about modern design. It describe the symbol in the mask and giving a easy learning for kids, so it can be studied easyly and make them to interest more with the culture..

With this concept is expected to be more widely known fror Topeng Malangan culture to local people.
