RANCANG BANGUN DRUM KIT ELEKTRIK BERBASIS MICROCONTROLER DENGAN MICRO SD SEBAGAI SUMBER SUARA

Abstract

Abstract: The drum set has essential elements such as snare, tom, floor tom, bass drum, crash cymbal, ride cymbal, and hi-hat. The drum elements have a size large enough so that in the use of the drum kit requires a more adequate place and not easy to dismantle pairs. Currently drum kits already exist that work digitally ie electric drum or digital drum based MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface). In previous studies electric drums work by using additional end devices such as PC and Android smartphones. Departing from previous studies, the authors developed an electric drum instrument using a DFplayer module with SD card storage as a sound source. Which can improve the effectiveness and can perform parallel input instructions. In the result of the research the parallel input given by hitting the pad simultaneously can be extracted by microcontroller with output delay between DFplayer with each other. The output delay generated by two DFplayer simultaneously is 1.00s between the first DFplayer and the second DFplayer. The output delay generated by three DFplayer simultaneously is 0.90s between the third DFplayer and the second DFplayer, 1.80s between the second DFplayer and the first DFplayer.
