Abstract


Currently, many organizations and individuals are trying to maximize Android Smartphone technology in fish farming. One of which is Automatic Fish Feeder On a fish pond. This fish feeding tool basically already help the farmers in overcoming the problem of feeding that can be done automatically by the tool. But the tool still constrained in terms monitoring of damage, monitoring the availability of feed and scheduling on the tool, which should be done directly on the tool.
In this final project designed a system that can remotely monitor damage, monitor feed availability and can perform scheduling on Automated Fish Feeders Tool. Designing using Android Smartphone app which is integrated with Arduino and WiFi Module NodeMCU ESP8266 on the tool. Data transmission between Android Smartphone apps with tools done over the internet and web server as an intermediary.
Based on the tests performed consists of monitoring of damage, monitoring the availability of feed and scheduling in the Android Smartphone app as well as on Automatic Fish Feeder Tool. The average of some of these tests success rate is 90%. Delivery success is strongly influenced by serial communication and unstable internet network.
